Wymore. Toby was full of life, energy and had a compassion and devotion for the Marine Corps unlike anyone I've ever seen. Anyone who visits this site should know that it was Toby's idea to start it; and anyone who knew him knows that he had a true desire to keep in contact with his fellow veterans and support active duty Marines, both home and abroad. Toby was planning to deploy to Iraq in January 2009 and had worked around the country for several years helping communities heal from disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes and floods. He will be greatly missed by his Marine Corps brothers, as well as his family and friends. Toby was very outgoing and easily made new friends; but more importantly he enjoyed keeping up with old friends as well. I always enjoyed talking to Toby and will greatly miss his him, his laughter and his dedication. - Gene Davis, Webmaster --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gene, ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Toby, you're the best friend I have ever had in my
life. No matter where we were or what we were both doing we always found a way
to keep in touch. I always loved the passion we both had for the Marine Corps
and for trying to locate our friends. It seemed as though we never had a lot
of luck finding others on our own but when we got together we always managed
to find a few more friends. I will never forget that week in Vermont when we
really got aggressive about finding others, especially when we found Peirce
and you cried and wouldn't believe it was him. When Jason came up to Vermont
with his family to hang with us is still one of the greatest days I have had
in a very long time. Sitting together that week and plotting trying to put a
reunion together and web site was great, and thanks to your drive and Gene
stepping up we now have a great site were we can now pay tribute to you.
I am sorry I have been out of touch to much the last
several month's with my job and my family issues that you always were there to
help with. I should have been there for you! I love you brother and do not
know what I am going to do without you. I have a void that can not be
replaced. You are the greatest most loyal most caring person I have ever met
and this country and this world has suffered a great loss losing you. I will
never let my own children forget Uncle Wymore, and I will still chat with you
daily. Sorry for not being there when you needed me most.
Semper Fidelis Toby Wymore you lived and breathed
this motto and inspired greatness in others.
Love Ya Brother
Mike Kobel

Webmaster note - We are currently checking into the possibility of setting up an account for Toby's daughter, McKenna, for those who would like to contribute. Mike Kobel will be coordinating this effort with the family. As soon as we get more information, we'll pass it along to you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Toby, I was truly blessed early this spring when you happened to find me in Fort Payne Al. The time we spent kayaking in Little River Canyon will always be cherished deeply. I will never forget working in Texas on Hurricane Ike. You were one of my truly best friends in the world!! I will never forget you!! SEMPER FI MY BROTHER!!
